About Me
My name is Kayode, Kolade Christopher, AKA Ksound. I'm a self-taught web developer focusing on frontend technologies, who likes to teach what he knows to others through articles and books.
My journey started during the start of the worldwide lockdown due to Covid-19. I summoned the courage to teach myself how to code, thinking it would be smooth sailing, but I later realized it was never meant to be like that for even those who went to Coding Bootcamps. The road was rough and the journey was tough, but I prevailed.
I started earning through the little I know after learning just HTML and CSS. Today, I'm a technical writer, content creator, and contributor to one of the largest open-source projects in the world.
Why this eBook?
While starting out in web development by teaching myself, I discovered that it is never easy to teach oneself how to code. It is pretty easy to give up and give in to the hassle involved. I jumped from resources to resources because there are numerous of them over the Internet, I couldn't figure out what I want for five months, partly due to the information overload all around.
But in the end, I found my feet and here I am today. I'm not really where I want to be yet, but I love my progress. I decided to write this eBook to point you to the right steps without overwhelming you and overloading you with information, that's why I made sure it doesn't go past 40 pages in total (you get a 31-page book and a 6-page cheatsheet).
